In fact, I posted this on my Facebook 00:01:03.240 --> 00:01:07.540 page Every time recently that we have gathered 00:01:07.540 --> 00:01:10.719 together Whether it be a one -on -one meeting 00:01:10.719 --> 00:01:15.579 or whether it be a small group The seniors had 00:01:15.579 --> 00:01:19.420 an amazing small group time at the Cubatz home 00:01:19.420 --> 00:01:22.159 How many seniors were there and it would say 00:01:22.159 --> 00:01:26.920 wow look what God did? God is doing something 00:01:26.920 --> 00:01:33.620 unique In every gathering that we come to, God 00:01:33.620 --> 00:01:40.560 presences Himself in a unique way. He'll do it again breakthrough 00:02:05.340 --> 00:02:11.759 God is bringing breakthrough to people in their 00:02:11.759 --> 00:02:16.159 walk with Jesus God is touching people. He's 00:02:16.159 --> 00:02:21.819 awakening things inside of people God is using 00:02:21.819 --> 00:02:27.250 national events even to awaken desire for God 00:02:27.250 --> 00:02:30.830 in people. I'm getting testimonies of people 00:02:30.830 --> 00:02:33.289 saying, you know, I've had this Bible in the 00:02:33.289 --> 00:02:37.550 back of my shelf for years, and now I'm picking 00:02:37.550 --> 00:02:41.389 it up and I'm starting to read it. And that's 00:02:41.389 --> 00:02:44.189 not to bring condemnation if you have not been 00:02:44.189 --> 00:02:48.689 doing those things, but God is awakening in the 00:02:48.689 --> 00:02:53.490 hearts of people. Amen? And he said, God, give them this 00:03:41.699 --> 00:03:46.639 city and God, give them this region. God is powerful and I 00:06:21.529 --> 00:06:24.290 ask God that you would just Speak to each one 00:06:24.290 --> 00:06:30.430 of us today in Jesus name Amen Peter starts out 00:06:30.430 --> 00:06:35.089 by using language pilgrims of the dispersion 00:06:35.089 --> 00:06:38.050 This is language that the Jewish people although 00:06:38.050 --> 00:06:42.009 he's not just writing to Jewish people But that 00:06:42.009 --> 00:06:44.470 they would that they would know about they had 00:06:44.470 --> 00:06:49.329 been called pilgrims of the dispersion Psalm 00:06:49.329 --> 00:06:54.949 147 verse 2 the Lord builds up Jerusalem he gathers 00:06:54.949 --> 00:07:01.050 the outcasts of Israel that's talking about the 00:07:01.050 --> 00:07:05.959 pilgrims of the dispersion Isaiah 1112, he will 00:07:05.959 --> 00:07:10.060 set up a banner for the nations and he will assemble 00:07:10.060 --> 00:07:15.259 the outcasts of Israel and gather together the 00:07:15.259 --> 00:07:19.779 dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the 00:07:19.779 --> 00:07:25.500 earth. Some of you were alive when Israel first 00:07:25.500 --> 00:07:29.079 reclaimed their land in the nation of Israel. 00:07:29.519 --> 00:07:33.699 God is fulfilling his promise, those that are 00:07:33.699 --> 00:07:37.180 dispersed. But he is not just talking about those 00:07:37.180 --> 00:07:39.779 that were dispersed physically, although they 00:07:39.779 --> 00:07:43.240 were in Acts chapter five. He's talking about 00:07:43.240 --> 00:07:48.240 those that are outcasts, those that society has 00:07:48.240 --> 00:07:52.779 written off. In fact, the religious people in 00:07:52.779 --> 00:07:57.300 Jesus' day, this is a lot later than many, this 00:07:57.300 --> 00:08:03.000 is many decades later, but the religious people 00:08:03.000 --> 00:08:07.699 in Jesus' day had written many people off that 00:08:07.699 --> 00:08:14.000 Jesus focused his ministry on. He came not to 00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:16.879 buddy up with those that already thought that 00:08:16.879 --> 00:08:21.259 they were righteous. But Jesus came to seek and 00:08:21.259 --> 00:08:25.579 save those that were lost and those that had 00:08:25.579 --> 00:08:31.060 been rejected as impossibles Jesus brought them 00:08:31.060 --> 00:08:36.299 near those that had been dispersed We like it 00:08:36.299 --> 00:08:39.039 when people come into our church and they're 00:08:39.039 --> 00:08:42.620 already polished and they're already Looking 00:08:42.620 --> 00:08:46.220 good and hey, here's somebody that that that 00:08:46.220 --> 00:08:49.700 can fit right in But how many of you know that 00:08:49.700 --> 00:08:52.539 God is not just looking for those that already 00:08:52.539 --> 00:08:55.600 have the the Bible memorized from cover to cover 00:08:55.600 --> 00:08:58.899 God is looking for those that everybody else 00:08:58.899 --> 00:09:02.940 overlooks and and and stares right past and says 00:09:02.940 --> 00:09:06.899 and says no not this one but God does not say 00:09:06.899 --> 00:09:10.860 no not this one God says draw near to me come 00:09:10.860 --> 00:09:14.990 on I'm choosing you for my team And so Peter 00:09:14.990 --> 00:09:18.370 opens up and he says, the pilgrims of the dispersion, 00:09:18.710 --> 00:09:21.750 the outcasts, all the people that nobody wanted 00:09:21.750 --> 00:09:25.409 in Pontus and Galatia and Cappadocia and Asia 00:09:25.409 --> 00:09:30.129 and Bithynia, you are now not outcasts, you are 00:09:30.129 --> 00:09:34.610 now elect according to the foreknowledge of God 00:09:34.610 --> 00:09:39.629 the Father, hallelujah. A woman that certainly nobody, 00:10:06.519 --> 00:10:08.960 none of the religious leaders would ever think 00:10:08.960 --> 00:10:12.440 could do any good. But Jesus looked at that woman 00:10:12.440 --> 00:10:16.360 and said, go and sin no more. Do you know what? 00:10:16.360 --> 00:10:20.019 He was giving her the ability to overcome her 00:10:20.019 --> 00:10:22.940 prostitution and overcome all of the garbage 00:10:22.940 --> 00:10:27.019 of the past and she could too. become a new creation 00:10:27.019 --> 00:10:33.679 in Christ and walk with God. And so here I was a young teenager 00:11:41.580 --> 00:11:44.740 and I would listen to these men of God pray, 00:11:44.740 --> 00:11:47.220 but it wasn't just the words that they said, 00:11:47.440 --> 00:11:50.080 it was the interaction that they had with God. 00:11:50.620 --> 00:11:53.720 Isn't that what discipleship really is all about? 00:11:53.960 --> 00:11:58.039 Being able to see with your eyes and hear with 00:11:58.039 --> 00:12:00.960 your ears. He would just he was 00:12:11.779 --> 00:12:14.440 just be in the corner and he would just be saying 00:12:14.440 --> 00:12:23.080 hallelujah And It wasn't the words that he said 00:12:23.080 --> 00:12:27.200 or how they said them but I could tell that he 00:12:27.200 --> 00:12:33.159 was fellowshiping With with God and he carried 00:12:33.159 --> 00:12:37.039 an anointing that I wanted to carry And many 00:12:37.039 --> 00:12:40.000 times I would hear these great men and women 00:12:40.000 --> 00:12:46.399 of God say this, Lord, we plead the blood of 00:12:46.399 --> 00:12:50.169 Jesus. Over this one that needs healing how many 00:12:50.169 --> 00:12:52.850 of you ever heard that term before? Plead the 00:12:52.850 --> 00:12:56.230 blood of Jesus. Well, it's similar to this straight 00:12:56.230 --> 00:13:00.629 out of the scriptures sprinkling the blood of 00:13:00.629 --> 00:13:04.269 Jesus and and Peter is saying you were you were 00:13:04.269 --> 00:13:07.850 once an outcast but now you have the authority 00:13:07.850 --> 00:13:13.129 to pray with power to Sprinkle the blood of Jesus 00:13:13.129 --> 00:13:16.590 everywhere you go to pray over people that the 00:13:16.590 --> 00:13:21.029 same the same blood that Jesus shed that cleansed 00:13:21.029 --> 00:13:24.370 and washed you of your sin, the same blood that 00:13:24.370 --> 00:13:27.450 healed you, you can sprinkle the blood, you can 00:13:27.450 --> 00:13:31.409 pray the power of that blood over everybody. 00:13:31.610 --> 00:13:34.149 Hallelujah. And so you were once an outcast, 00:13:34.210 --> 00:13:37.789 but now you're used mightily of God to see miracles 00:13:37.789 --> 00:13:42.889 happening wherever you go. And I had to go to my youth pastor as a 00:52:31.599 --> 00:52:35.059 young man. And I wept. In fact, I wept and my 00:52:35.059 --> 00:52:38.380 youth pastor laughed.
